Nature Nurtures
Inspired by the passionflower, Tennessee’s state wildflower and nicknamed the ‘maypop’, Betsy & Austin Littrell founded Maypop Building Workshop in 2019 as an architecture and construction firm specializing in sustainable, design-driven projects in and around Nashville, TN. Our focus on 'low carbon, high performance' projects leverages the genius of nature in the design of our building assemblies to provide healthy, high performance homes. Like its namesake, Maypop Building Workshop is working to be aggressively resilient, ecologically restorative, and viscerally inspiring while celebrating the bounty and the beauty Middle Tennessee has to offer.
